Our woodland venue at Copthorne, 3 miles east of Crawley, has a permanently laid out FITA field course of 24 marked and unmarked targets, changed annually in September. This location is currently one of the premier Field shoots on the annual calendar, and often used by National ranking archers. An Open tournament is organized each year, and entry forms and result sheets are also available on this site. In the past, Crawley Archery Club has hosted the Sussex and Regional Field championships, and in 1998 hosted the English championships. GNAS affiliated archers are welcome as visitors and can shoot with club members, usually on a club day, at any of our venues on payment of a daily membership fee. The club also has a growing number of associate members who join to take advantage of the permanent field course. Full details are available from the Club’s field representative. |
